Shawsheen defeated Greater Lawrence 41-16 in a Commonwealth Conference football game, extending the Rams' winning streak to 34 games, the longest in Massachusetts, the Boston Globe reported on Oct. 31, 2026.

Senior captain Quinn Carbone scored on both offense and defense, opening the game with an interception returned for a touchdown against Greater Lawrence quarterback Josaiah Santiago and later adding a goal-line rushing score. Shawsheen led 21-0 after the first quarter, with junior Nathan Smith turning a screen pass into an 89-yard touchdown on the team's first offensive play and junior running back Tristian Lane catching a 26-yard touchdown.

Greater Lawrence scored in the second quarter and recovered an onside kick to start the second half, but Smith intercepted a pass in the red zone. Shawsheen scored three times in the fourth quarter, including a 42-yard touchdown reception by Smith and a 50-yard touchdown run by Gavin Lane.

Shawsheen improved to 7-0; Greater Lawrence fell to 5-3. The Rams' last loss came against Foxborough on Nov. 17, 2023. "They learned the winning ways from the older kids," said Shawsheen coach Al Costabile, referring to the team's seniors.
