An exhibit on the work of Cambridge woodworker Mitch Ryerson, titled "Joyful Anarchy," was open in the city as of October 15, 2026, WBUR reported.

The show covers Ryerson's design process and the projects he has built over a career spent making playgrounds for children and wooden benches for public spaces, according to WBUR.

Ryerson helped design the Alexander W. Kemp Playground on Cambridge Common, which features a large wooden ship among its play structures. He spoke with WBUR about his work and what the designs have meant to the communities that use them.
