Rectify Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Boston biotechnology company, said on November 5, 2026, that it will present animal-study results for its experimental liver drug RTY-406 at a liver disease conference in Denver, according to a company statement distributed by GlobeNewswire.

The data will be shown on November 7, 2026, during an industry showcase at the yearly gathering of U.S. liver specialists. Rectify said the once-daily pill acts on two bile transport proteins, ABCB4 and BSEP, and that in a mouse model it reduced measures tied to disease progression, including inflammation and fibrosis. The company said it also saw the drug act on both transporters in non-human primates.

RTY-406 is in Phase 1 testing for several bile duct and liver conditions, among them primary biliary cholangitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Chief executive Rajesh Devraj said results from cholestatic patients are expected in 2027.

Rectify describes its approach as Positive Functional Modulators, oral small molecules intended to restore the work of membrane proteins. Chief medical officer Pol Boudes said many current treatments for these diseases do not reach the mechanisms driving them.
