FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc., the California-based robotics company that trades on Nasdaq under the ticker FFR, said on November 1 that its new New York and Northeast regional operation will cover Massachusetts and southwestern Connecticut in its first phase, along with New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
The announcement came in a weekly video update from founder and global chief executive YT Jia, distributed through PR Newswire. The company said it has begun recruiting business partners in the territory and will start hiring in the New York region, with plans to expand its RoboShare robot-sharing platform on the East Coast.
FFR said it sold and shipped 351 devices in October, bringing cumulative sales and shipments to 1,168 units since deliveries began at the end of February. The company said it expects average monthly sales above 400 units in November and December and is targeting roughly 2,000 devices for the full year on a standalone basis for its acquired robotics business.
FFR was spun out of Faraday Future, which is shifting toward robotaxi operations and Physical AI investments. The company cautioned that its projections are forward-looking and subject to risks including financing and Nasdaq compliance.
