Brookline Computer Repair Shop Reports More Business as Part Prices Rise

WBZ-TV reported that computers, software and accessories trailed only gas and energy among the categories driving the latest inflation increase.

A computer repair shop in Brookline is seeing an increase in business as the cost of parts climbs, CBS Boston reported on October 14.

The report, by WBZ-TV's Aaron Parseghian, tied the shop's experience to the latest rise in inflation. Gas and energy prices were the biggest drivers of that increase, followed closely by computers, software and accessories, according to the station.

The segment did not detail the size of the shop's increase in business or the specific prices it pays for components.
