Boston Business Watch on Oct. 15 named Aces Highlands HVAC-Plumbing-Electrical LLC its top heating and cooling company in southern Maine for 2026. The Portland firm works on heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, plumbing and electrical service from one shop at 508 Riverside Street, Unit 1.

Aces Highlands is a client of Acadia Marketing, the company that publishes Boston Business Watch. This is the publication's selection. It is not a reader vote and it is not a count of ballots.

The company says its crews answer (207) 670-8616 at all hours, seven days a week, and that the work runs through 48 Maine towns from Portland to Augusta and York.

Three trades from one Portland shop

Heating and cooling on the company's site covers heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, boilers, radiant floor heat and furnaces, including installation, repair and maintenance. Plumbing on the same site covers leak repair, fixture installation, drain cleaning, and tank and tankless water heaters. Electrical work listed there runs from panel upgrades and rewiring to generators, outlets, lighting and electric-vehicle chargers.

The company says it is a Mitsubishi Electric authorized installer and an Efficiency Maine registered residential vendor.

A photograph the company publishes shows two technicians in Aces Highlands shirts connecting a Mitsubishi Electric outdoor unit beside a house with gray siding. Another shows two GE outdoor units on stands in front of cedar shingles. A third shows an IBC boiler on a basement wall, with copper piping and a green expansion tank beside it.

The site lists four Maine credential numbers: master oil burner technician MS30020339, master plumber MS90020232, journeyman electrician MS60023157, and propane and natural gas technician PNT15077.

The company also describes an emergency line for a home with no heat, a burst pipe or a lost circuit, and a lookup it calls Smart Insights, which it says lets a homeowner check a property before calling.
