Plymouth Testing Provider Faces Complaint Over Delayed Results
Kristen Casey said she was told a backlog followed a provider's departure from Mindful Paths Psychological Testing.
A South Shore mother said she has waited months for the results of her daughter's psychological evaluation from Mindful Paths Psychological Testing, which has a location in Plymouth, Boston 25 News reported on October 7.
Kristen Casey told the station her daughter completed testing in July and that she was told at the time the results would be ready within a few weeks. Casey said she was later informed the company was working through a backlog after a provider left.
Casey contacted Boston 25 News after repeated attempts to get answers from the provider. "I don't trust them," she said.
Psychological evaluations are often used to support school services, diagnoses and treatment plans, and delays can hold up those decisions.
