Belfast Exterior Cleaner Offers Antique Window Glass Replacement

See Through Window Cleaning, based in Belfast, Maine, offers antique and historic window glass replacement alongside its window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter cleaning services, according to its website. The company said its owner, Jesse Rodgers, started cleaning windows and exteriors in the Midcoast region in 2005.

Built For Coastal Weather

The company said salt spray, seasonal storms and harsh winters wear on windows, siding, gutters and roofs across the Midcoast, and it built its service list around that. Beyond standard window washing, See Through offers soft wash cleaning, roof cleaning and roof power washing to remove moss and buildup, roof blow downs, and gutter cleaning that includes minor repairs, according to its website. It recommends twice-yearly window cleaning for most Midcoast homes, in spring and fall, and quarterly service for coastal properties exposed to salt air.

Antique Glass And Multi-Story Work

See Through said it has experience restoring and replacing antique glass in historic buildings along the coast, including what it describes as "a historic sea captain's home." For taller properties, the company said its crew uses water-fed poles and safety equipment to reach upper floors and skylights. It also offers a cobweb-removal service for ceilings, corners, fixtures and outdoor spaces, and uses what it calls biodegradable, streak-free cleaning products.

The company draws a distinction between its residential and commercial work: for homeowners, it says it handles hard-to-reach spots and delicate surfaces, while for businesses it offers scheduled maintenance programs for storefronts, offices, restaurants and inns meant to limit disruption during business hours.

Serving The Midcoast And Central Maine

See Through Window Cleaning said it carries comprehensive liability insurance and backs its work with a guarantee: if a customer is not satisfied, the company said it will "come back and make it right at no extra charge." Its listed service area runs from Belfast to Brunswick and Augusta to Ellsworth, and includes Camden, Rockland, Rockport, Thomaston, Lincolnville and Northport, according to its website.
